Filled with Joy and peace.

I am still not well , I am unsure if I will return to a better state of health, but this has been such a positive experience for me.

I have never experienced such Joy and peace before. The Lord is so good! and I cannot put into words how thankful I am.

My exhaustion levels are at a all time high , my pain levels are high, my mobility is very limited but I am contented and at peace about it all.

Maybe it is acceptance about my situation. I have not given up I am just going with the tide rather than struggling and fighting against it all the time.
I still have lots of trials ahead of me but God is with me and knows all my needs.
How awesome is that?

A few verses that say it all

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

That is wonderful. Learning to be content is a big gift. Very easy to say but to actually live it out understandibly leads to the joy nd peace you feel. XX

Dear Sister in Christ - I didn't know you had a blog....but I will follow now that I do.

Just want you to know, that even though I've not had the pleasure of meeting you in person, your quiet spirit has been so very apparent online, and is an example of Godliness to me!
Thankyou for this.
Praying that God will continue to uphold you.
Love, Naomi (Millar)

Yesterday I was down (and not quite out), and at the end looked at the verse I'd read in the morning: Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. There's the tonic we need: experience His promises. Keep trusting. Glad you can still make me some cards too! love from Moomin xx
