A poem about how I get on with things.

I am no poet but wanted to put a few things down

In 2002 I didn't know what to do,
I wobbled, fell over, went numb,
I had test after test, The docs did their best

But still no answer was found.

I carried on, uncertain what the future would bring.
I would laugh, cry and EVEN sing.
Then one day in the Doctor's office he said
'You have MS - you have lesions in your head'.

I left and cried, and phoned hubby outside.
He was away and I felt all alone.
Went home and just stared at the wall,
I suddenly felt incredibly small.

I cried out to the Lord to help me get through -
As I didn't know at all what to do.
He comforted me and has never let me down
I have ups and downs - nothing is new!

You may pity my verse
But my life could be worse -
And these problems will all soon be gone
And then I'll be free,
through eternity,
Because of the love of God's Son.
